The Master trainers participating in this training are from Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura and Mizoram.
Another two state level training of the Master trainers for Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are scheduled later this month in their respective states.
The Master trainers will be given training on the process of ASER 2009. There are many components that are required for successfully completing the survey. The components include the district level training, management of the resources, handling of District Partners etc. For this, the training of the Master trainer thoroughly of ASER 2009 Survey will help them implement the survey properly.
The Master trainers including the ASER Associates are responsible to implement a sucessuful district level training and village level survey of ASER 2009 in their respective States/Districts.

Master trainers Training at Kohima completed its 4 days training as schedule successfully. 8 Master trainers each from Nagaland and Manipur, 5 from Mizoram, 2 from Tripura and 2 from Meghalaya attended the training. Now the task is all set for the respective states and districts. Nagaland and Manipur likely to finished the survey by 10th oct 2009.
